Sowing Instructions:
Transplanting (recommended): Start in 72-cell trays about 4 weeks before planting out. Cover seeds and use a heat mat to maintain warm temps. Cooler temps (70–75°F) slow germination to 5–7 days. Avoid root-bound plants and minimize root disturbance, as stress can cause double varieties to produce singles temporarily.
Direct Sowing:
Sow 1/4" deep. Succession sow every 2 weeks for steady, high-quality stems. Pinch the first bud and continue deadheading to encourage strong branching and continuous blooms. Protect from frost—plants are very sensitive.
