Snapdragons are a must-have in my flower field for their vibrant color range, tall spires, and sweet clove-like scent. I succession sow them throughout the season to keep fresh blooms coming, and they’re always a hit in market bouquets for their playful shape and reliable vase life.

Germination:
7-14 days
Transplant (recommended): Surface-sow in 128-cell flats or containers 8–10 weeks before planting out. Light required—cover lightly with vermiculite to retain moisture. Bottom water or mist gently. Transplant to larger cells at first true leaves (3–4 weeks). For bushier plants, pinch at 3–4" tall (4–6 leaves); this delays bloom but increases branching. Space 6–12" apart if pinched.
Direct seeding not recommended.
Note: Pinch seedlings when they reach about 4 inches tall and have 4-6 leaves to encourage bushier growth and more blooms.

Grows best in full sun to part shade.
