  • Germination:

    10-12 days​

    Transplant (recommended): Sow 4–6 weeks before planting. Cover lightly—light aids germination. Pot up at first true leaves and grow at 50–55°F in greenhouse to prevent stretching. Harden off and transplant after frost.

    Direct seed: Sow every 2–3 weeks until late spring for best flowers and pods. Support may be needed.

    No pinching necessary.

     

    Growing Conditions:

    Grows best in full sun.

     

    Spacing:

    Plant starts 9-15 inches apart​.
