Larkspur is a reliable early bloomer that brings height, texture, and elegance to any arrangement. I sow it in fall and early spring for strong, towering stems packed with delicate blooms. It’s a staple in my market bouquets for its romantic look and excellent vase life.

  • Germination:

    14-21 days​

    Direct seed (recommended): Sow ¼" deep (darkness required) in early spring for summer bloom or fall for the next year. Germination is poor above 55°F (13°C).

    Transplant: Sow in 72-cell flats 5–7 weeks before planting. Grow at 55°F (13°C) until planting out. Best where summers are cool.

     

    Growing Conditions:

    Grows best in full sun.

     

    Spacing:

    Plant starts 4-6 inches apart​.
