Cress is an excellent bouquet filler that's easy to grow from seed. Its sturdy, upright stems start with a vibrant green that fades to a beautiful golden hue as the season progresses. This plant dries wonderfully, making it perfect for long-lasting arrangements. It’s so versatile, you can never grow too much!
Varieties:
Green Dragon
More whimsical and wild in form, Dragon Cress brings a touch of airy structure to arrangements. Its slender stems and scattered pods add movement and softness.
Penny
Compact and bushier, Penny Cress has smaller seed pods that form clusters along the stem. It adds fullness and greenery to spring bunches and dries beautifully too.
Persian
Tall, upright stems with round, coin-like seed pods that hold up well in arrangements. It’s one of the most popular varieties for cut flower growers and a great early-season staple.
