Direct Seed (preferred): Sow outdoors after last frost (or in fall in the South), covering lightly. For continuous harvest, make 2–3 sowings, 2 weeks apart.
Transplant: Start indoors 4–6 weeks early. Pot up at first true leaves, then harden off and set out after frost.
Tips: Pre-chill seed 1–2 weeks at 40–45°F for better germination. Grow seedlings at 58–62°F. Provide support in windy areas.
