Alertie is a light pink early spring bloomer.
 
Roots are 3-5 eye.
 
Plant your roots in the fall or early winter before soil freezes. Peony roots need to be shallow planted no deeper than 2 inches from the soil surface. If you plant roots too deep the plants will only produce foliage and no blooms. Peonies take several years to establish and it is recommended to not cut the bloom for 3 years.
